Welcome to Solberga Parish and our three congregations: Solberga, Jörlanda, and Hålta. Our congregations are located along the coastline between Kungälv and Stenungsund by Hakefjorden. The worship life in our congregations is characterized by many parishioners regularly attending our services.

Solberga Parish is now looking for a self-driven and responsible person for a full-time position. The position is part of a team of four where teamwork and collaboration are important aspects of the job. We hope that you, as an applicant, can qualify through:

• We are looking for someone who has completed a gardening education or has equivalent experience in practical park or cemetery work.
• That you are familiar with machinery and can perform basic maintenance and repairs on machines.
• That you can carry out basic property maintenance.
• That you share the values of the Church of Sweden as you serve during weekend services and ceremonies.

The position consists of varied tasks within grave and green area maintenance such as grave digging, leaf collection, and snow removal. Maintenance of small machines like lawn mowers and trimmers is done continuously, and cleaning of churches and some property maintenance is also included. The position is a combined indoor and outdoor job, which means that you will serve at services, funerals, baptisms, and weddings according to the weekend schedule.

The work involves heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks, which requires you to have good physical fitness.
